THE SOLSTICE COUNT DOWN IS ON!

The countdown is on to next Thursday, April 14, when the all-new 2006 Pontiac
Solstice will be the featured task on NBC's The Apprentice! Near the
conclusion of the show, Pontiac will run a dramatic, new 60-second TV spot
that features Solstice like you have never seen before and announces an
important call-to-action to consumers for the early order program including
the first 1,000 exclusive retail orders available on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Consumers will be told to follow these simple steps starting at 9:00 PM EDT on
April 14:

1. Visit pontiac.com/apprentice
2. Complete the online registration form and print it out
3. Take the registration form with unique ID number to a
participating Pontiac dealership starting at 2:00 PM EDT on Friday, April 15
through 24, to see if they are eligible for one of the First 1,000 Exclusive
Retail Orders while quantities last

Important Program Highlights

Participating dealers should do the following during the promotional period:
1. Enter customers' unique ID numbers into the secure dealer website
starting at 2:00 PM EDT on Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 24.
2. If the customer is eligible for one of the first 1,000 exclusive retail
orders, the secure dealer website system will advise you immediately. If not,
you have the option to place the customer on the national waitlist; however,
there is no guarantee that they will become eligible in the event of an order
cancellation.
3. If a customer still wishes to place a regular sold order (beyond the
first 1,000 exclusive retail orders), you should place an order against your
estimated 4-month dealer allocation quantity.

Eligible customers must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or DC who
are at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. Purchasers must be
individuals or companies located in the aforementioned areas.

GM employees, GM suppliers, and GM dealership employees and immediate family
members (including parents, in-laws, siblings, children, spouse or partners,
regardless of where they live) and members of the same household, whether
related or not, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for one of the first 1,000 exclusive retail
orders. Orders for these consumers may be placed against a Pontiac dealer's
Solstice allocation for the balance of the 2006 model year.
